The It List Explores... Nashville!
It List Explores …. Nashville!
Now all we need is Aer Lingus to turn on a direct flight, but in the meantime go via London from Dublin & trust me it is worth it!
In summary:
To say I was blown away by Nashville would be an understatement. A city bursting with energy, spirit, unmatched musical talent, the best food and nightlife seen balancing dive bars with sophisticated high-end restaurants and rooftops, and an unexpectedly brilliant city for shopping, Nashville has it all. People go to Nashville to let their hair down and have a good time, there is so much to do and see so I would recommend a long weekend/36 hour trip at least to pack it all in, and if you can, extend your trip to get out to Graceland to see the home of Elvis while visiting this part of the world. You will laugh, you will sing, you will dance, and you will never experience anywhere like it! Nashville is oozing with soul, style and good vibes only!

Where to Eat & Drink?
Hit up the Broadway strip and do a Honky Tonk bar and live music crawl. The standard of live music is exceptional, bring cash so you tip the musicians and request your fave country tunes, of course I requested Taylor Swift in every bar!
Jason Aldean’s for dinner and drinks
Tootsies for drinks
Kid Rocks bar for drinks
The Twelve Thirty Club - Swanky bar, restaurant and rooftop owned by Justin Timberlake, a great upmarket spot for dinner and drinks, get dressed up and enjoy the extensive cocktail list, boujis décor and full schedule of impressive live performers.
Hattie B’s for the best of Nashville Hot Chicken
Peg Leg Porker for BBQ
Martins for BBQ
Locust for Dumplings
Milk and Honey for brunch – so good we went twice!
Where to Shop?
For a shopping Mall visit the mall near Broadway for your Sephora fix, Free People etc and some great stores to buy real cowboy boots!
For boutiques explore the Gulch area, we loved Uncommon James owned by Kristin Cavallari, Kittenish and EAllen. 12th are South area is also great for boutiques including Love Shack Fancy, Emerson Grace and Hero Boutique.
What to Do?
A city steeped in country music history and culture, the museums are an absolute must and are designed to both entertain and educate in equal measure. Trying to pack it all in can be tricky, so my top must-sees are the Ryman Auditorium, TheAfrican American Music Museum, The Johnny Cash Museum, The Grand Ole Oprey, TheCountry Music Hall of Fame and the Bluebird Café.
What to Wear?
Denim, Cowboy Boots and Hat, Fringe – go all out!
